Borderlands first DLC now has a price point and a release date. 800 MS points (10 bucks) and November 24th. PS3 version will launch same day, but no word on PC version. Read below for some interesting info on the content and an excellent video preview by IGN.
~50 New Quests
5 new Dungeons
6-10 hours of gameplay
New Bosses
Xbox/PS3 Nov 24th – $10
PC version “sometime after”
Upon downloading you get a “travel pass” to the island
It is an entirely separate area
Zombies don’t carry guns
You can dismember the zombies, forcing them to crawl
Dr Ned is Dr Zed with a moustache
Many zombies wear beer helmets
There are “were-skags”
There are crow-like rakks named “Corpse Eaters”
There are large suicide kamikaze zombies
Pumpkin Heads that spit fire
Zombies will crawl up out of the ground
Large brute zombies called “Tankenstein”
Some larger zombies carry chests on their backs
Some large zombies throw exploding barrels or exploding lightning

This was in development long before the release of the game. There are different teams working on the DLC and the patches.

As far as I know, they will not raise the level cap with this content. I believe they are saving that for future DLC.

Any idea if you have beat the second playthrough will all the enemies in this area be level 48-51 automatically?
