Easy “Collect” Achievements

If you are like me, you beat DLC4 a long time before getting close to collecting all the various items that are tied to the achievements/trophies of Claptrap's New Robot Revolution. After getting frustrated at the drop rate of bobbleheads and pizza, I found this nifty way to get the items with minimal effort.

DLC4 Achievements Released

Claptrap's New Robot Revolution is out in just a few days, and will include 10 new achievements for a total of 80, and 1750 GS on Xbox 360. See our updated Achievements List for the full rundown, including the three secret achievements, or look inside for just the RoboRevo additions.

Level Cap to Increase to 69 via free patch (Skill Calculator Updated)

Gearbox announced some show-stopping news at PAX10 this weekend with the announcement that they have taken over Duke Nukem Forever and will be releasing it next year, but the big news for us Borderlandsers is that DLC4 is out on Sept 28th and while there is no level cap raise in the DLC, there will be a free patch issued "around the late-October GOTY release" that "rebalances the game" and raises the cap to level 69. I have updated the skill calculator to allow up to level 69 builds, so go and...

Gearbox announced the Game of the Year edition of Borderlands recently via Twitter, to be released October 12 for 59.99 on Xbox 360, PS3 and 49.99 on PC. 3/4 of the DLC are reported to be on the disc, with the yet-to-be-released "Claptrap's Robot Revolution" redeemable via a download token.
Perhaps the GOTY Edition Strategy Guide that surfaced last month will release along side this excellent value for anyone who hasn't experienced Borderlands yet.

The fourth (and likely final) DLC for Borderlands was just announced, and will have us taking on an army of Claptraps! The DLC will include 20 new missions, 10 extra skill points, 3 backpack slots, and perhaps some other surprises. Sneaky Little Buggers Achievement Guide

Out of freaking nowhere, Gearbox announces the release date of DLC3 - The Secret Armory of General Knoxx - and its.... TOMORROW!!!! That's right, 2/23 for xbox owners, 2/25 for PC/PS3. I wish more gaming companies did this, though it seems kind of like a slip up to me. There will also be a pretty significant patch that addresses many bugs, including what promises to be a fix for modded weapons.
