The Xbox 360 achievements for the upcoming 3rd DLC have been announced, and reveal some hints at the kind of action you can expect in The Secret Armory of General Knoxx. 250 more gamerscore is now available, bringing the total to 1500. Speaking of that total, we also updated the master Achievements List to include all achievements, including the secret ones and the ones from The Zombie Island of Dr Ned. Third DLC Announced – Secret Armory of General Knoxx

After some rumors of a new level cap raise coming for Borderlands, the third DLC has been officially announced! It will be called "The Secret Armory of General Knoxx" and will include a new environment with new missions, new "brutal" enemies, and most interestingly - NEW WEAPONS AND ITEMS!! Touted as "The Largest DLC Yet," also confirmed is the level cap raise, and from the looks of the screenshots (see inside), new vehicles! Check out the screens after the jump.

Mad Moxxi Info Roundup

Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot – Confirmed

2K today confirmed that "Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot" is indeed the next DLC for Borderlands and will be available on Dec 29 on Xbox360 and Jan 7th for PS3. In addition to confirming the arena-style quests and screenshots that were leaked yesterday, they announced that there will be the ability to obtain two new skill points via quests! UPDATE: NEW *UNCONFIRMED* SCREENSHOT ADDED. This has not been confirmed but Fragland is reporting that the new DLC will be called "Mad Moxxi's Underdome Riot" and will release on December 29th on Xbox 360 and Jan 7th for PS3. They also say the coliseums will include save chests where you can store weapons, thus alleviating some of the inventory woes all us Treasure Hunters have been having. This all sounds a bit fishy and could have easily been faked, but I'm betting on it being true. ...

PS3Trophies.org is reporting some new trophies for the PS3 version of Borderlands, leaking info about new DLC on it's way. Looks like it could be an expansion of the "Circle of Death/Circle of Slaughter" quests, hopefully endless waves of baddies, and *cross your fingers* maybe new loot? See below for the new trophies and points.

Borderlands first DLC now has a price point and a release date. 800 MS points (10 bucks) and November 24th. PS3 version will launch same day, but no word on PC version. Read below for some interesting info on the content and an excellent video preview by IGN.

Worthplaying has the scoop on the first DLC for Borderlands, and it's zombies! There isn't much information, other than the excerpt and screenshots below, expect more info after the release madness next week. The DLC will be on all 3 platforms for 9.99.
Tasked with keeping the workers of Jakobs Cove alive, Dr. Ned (who is not related to Dr. Zed from Fyrestone) does his job a little too well, creating zombies and other abominations that now run rampant in this region. Players will have to work ...
