  • Borderlands GOTY Edition – Includes all 4 DLC – Available Oct 12

    Gearbox announced the Game of the Year edition of Borderlands recently via Twitter, to be released October 12 for 59.99 on Xbox 360, PS3 and 49.99 on PC.  3/4 of the DLC are reported to be on the disc, with the yet-to-be-released "Claptrap's Robot Revolution" redeemable via a download token. Perhaps the GOTY Edition Strategy Guide that surfaced last month will release along side this excellent value for anyone who hasn't experienced Borderlands yet.     Borderlands first DLC now has a price point and a release date. 800 MS points (10 bucks) and November 24th. PS3 version will launch same day, but no word on PC version. Read below for some interesting info on the content and an excellent video preview by IGN. (more...)...

    Worthplaying has the scoop on the first DLC for Borderlands, and it's zombies! There isn't much information, other than the excerpt and screenshots below, expect more info after the release madness next week. The DLC will be on all 3 platforms for 9.99. Tasked with keeping the workers of Jakobs Cove alive, Dr. Ned (who is not related to Dr. Zed from Fyrestone) does his job a little too well, creating zombies and other abominations that now run rampant in this region.
