Out of freaking nowhere, Gearbox announces the release date of DLC3 - The Secret Armory of General Knoxx - and its.... TOMORROW!!!! That's right, 2/23 for xbox owners, 2/25 for PC/PS3. I wish more gaming companies did this, though it seems kind of like a slip up to me. There will also be a pretty significant patch that addresses many bugs, including what promises to be a fix for modded weapons. Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot – Confirmed

2K today confirmed that "Mad Moxxi’s Underdome Riot" is indeed the next DLC for Borderlands and will be available on Dec 29 on Xbox360 and Jan 7th for PS3. In addition to confirming the arena-style quests and screenshots that were leaked yesterday, they announced that there will be the ability to obtain two new skill points via quests! Borderlands first DLC now has a price point and a release date. 800 MS points (10 bucks) and November 24th. PS3 version will launch same day, but no word on PC version. Read below for some interesting info on the content and an excellent video preview by IGN.

The reviews for borderlands are rolling in, and are "generally favorable". The lowest is currently 80 with the highest 90. This is good news for Borderlands. With all the different links, just check metacritic to see the most up to date press consensus on the game:

Worthplaying has the scoop on the first DLC for Borderlands, and it's zombies! There isn't much information, other than the excerpt and screenshots below, expect more info after the release madness next week. The DLC will be on all 3 platforms for 9.99.
Tasked with keeping the workers of Jakobs Cove alive, Dr. Ned (who is not related to Dr. Zed from Fyrestone) does his job a little too well, creating zombies and other abominations that now run rampant in this region. Players will have to work ...

Looks like Gearbox has had www.borderlandsthegame.com redesigned all in flash! Page loads are a bit more cumbersome but it's oh so beautiful, and some neat new things to check out....
