You must be on the “Another Piece of the Puzzle” quest.  (This is the quest where you kill the Rakk Hive).  Before you turn the quest in (doesn’t matter whether you down him or not), go to the area pictured below, open the door and ride the elevator down for the room.

Some neat references in the room:

  • The Leg Lamp sitting on the desk is a reference to an exotic leg lamp the Dad got in the movie.
  • The unique Gearbox gun the Red Rider is a reference to the Red Rider BB Gun.
  • The flavor text on the Red Rider is a reference to a line from the movie as well.  (”Careful, you might put someone’s eye out”)
