    Looks like the PC players (Steam specifically) are getting a special surprise for purchasing the original Borderlands before this week.  If you check your CD Keys for Borderlands in Steam (right-click properties on the game and go to DLC tab), you will find a key named Duke Nukem Forever First Access Code.  Enter that code on this page, create a GBX account (or link it to your existing forum login), and wait until the demo comes out (currently unannounced).  Neat special treat from GBX.  Tho...

    Since release, Borderlands has been making waves just about everywhere.  Between the relatively high reviews, the selling out in stores, and now the game climbing all the way to #1 on many charts, I think it's safe to say the game is an extreme success.  Check out some of the more impressive stats below: (more...)...
  • Borderlands Available for Pre-Purchase on Steam

    The PC version of Borderlands is now available for pre-purchase on Steam for 44.95.  The game looks like it will be available to play at 3PM on the 26th of October.  Doesn't look like there is any bonus for pre-ordering like at GameStop, but it's 10% off currently, nearly 20 bucks cheaper than the console versions when you factor in tax you'll be paying at the store.     Borderlands availability on Steam is now confirmed, as well as some interesting news about features like weapon JPG exporting and UI tweaks for the PC. The article also mentions the best graphics to be on high-end PCs, as well as benchmarking software to help you tweak your visuals.
